Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for University of Calgary Scholarships, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Energizing Canada International Entrance Scholarship:
- Must be an international student entering their first year of undergraduate studies.
- Renewable for the second, third, and fourth year, maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.00 over 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms.
- Based on academic merit and financial need.
- Completed high school in China, including Hong Kong and Macau, and received a diploma.
- Preference for applicants to programmes leading to bachelor’s degrees in urban studies, engineering, business, or health sciences.
University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarship:
- Open to all undergraduate international students enrolling in any degree program for the upcoming fall term.
- Renewable for the second, third, and fourth year with a GPA of 2.60 or more over 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms and paying an international differential tuition fee.
- Applicable to international students required to pay a differential fee and not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada.
